WHAT IS XSLDB?

xsldb is a debugger for Apache XALAN for JAVA > v2.0 and for the Sun xslt tranformation implementations (JDK/JRE 1.4). If you do'nt know what this means this software perhaps isn't for you. Xsldb uses console communication to interact with the developer. There is no GUI available.

How to use?

See additional documentation for information on 'how to use xsldb' and 'how to start the demos'.

AREN'T THERE OTHER PRODUCTS?

Well, sure there are. Bound to C++ or to an Operating System or for a fixed GUI or to closely bound to an IDE. That's no my kind of view of an 'open' software.

DOES XSLDB COVERS ALL DEBUGGER FEATURES?

Definitely not (at this time). Some things are missing (f.e. backtracing, variable state changing).
Stay tuned or – even better – help leveraging.
